Friends, Supporters, and Colleagues:
After a successful opening day this fall, the Miracle League of New Albany is focusing on establishing itself for a successful spring season. We are planning to open the season on May 7th and run Saturday games through July 23rd.
As you know, this league brings out the best in our community to ensure ‘every child has a chance to play baseball.’ It is a league powered by volunteers and that is why I am reaching out to you today. Miracle League baseball requires that each player have a buddy to assist with hitting & running bases and accompanying the player into the outfield. Teams need 2-3 coaches and there is a great deal of field coordination from set up, announcing, and tear down after the games are over.
If you would be interested in volunteering for the season, or even individual days, please use this link to sign up and indicate your interest. Please feel free to forward it to others you think would be interested in this amazing baseball league.
Should you have any questions – please reach out to our league directors Denise (denisembell610@gmail.com) and Brian (brbell614@gmail.com) Bell.
Thank you all for your support! Looking forward to the spring season.

This past week, the City of New Albany cleared the land for The Miracle League of New Albany field! The site is a perfect match for the facility, and the City was able to maintain a few mature trees which will help create a park-like environment. Take a look at the photos below. We’re getting closer and closer to giving every child the chance to play baseball.
